Until today, "Watch the demo" on deviceshelf.app scrolled to five short clips. That is not a demo. Since 2026-09-07 the homepage has a demo section with two things you can actually use.
A live dashboard
demo.deviceshelf.app runs the server edition (1.9.24) in its demo mode: a fictional network of 45 devices with a year of seeded history. You can open any device, read its timeline, scroll through the security findings, look at the availability charts. It is the real dashboard, not a mock-up.
Two rules. The demo resets every hour, so nothing you type stays. And the container it runs in has no network access at all, so a webhook URL or a router login you enter there reaches nobody.
A one-minute tour
The second card plays a 61-second cut through the desktop app: one scan, an unknown device identified by the AI, the vulnerability report, live bandwidth, availability history, then the server edition and the phone app. Each scene has a caption. The tour opens in an overlay and stops when it is done.
Every clip enlarges
Every product clip on the page now has an enlarge button next to play/pause, and a click on the clip does the same. The clip opens at viewport size with the browser's own controls, fullscreen included. On a phone, each clip and gallery tile shows the region where its story happens, cut from the original recording at full sharpness. Before, it was the whole 1648-pixel window shrunk to 375.
The live demo runs on our own hardware behind a Cloudflare tunnel. If it is down, the tour still plays.
